    Thompson School District had four champions in the Boys Wrestling 4A State Championship: Thompson Valley High School freshman Jackzen Rairdon (106 lbs.), Loveland High School junior Kobi Johnson (113 lbs.), Loveland High School senior Cody Thompson (132 lbs.), and Thompson Valley High School senior Jacob Bierman (152 lbs.).

  • LHS Sophomore Wins Girls Wrestling State Championship

    Loveland High School sophomore Morgan Johnson (100 lbs.) won the Girls Wrestling State Championship.

    Loveland High School student Ramona Edwards was recognized as an Academic All American by the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA). Fewer than 2% of NSDA students earn the Academic All American award every year. This prestigious award celebrates the academic excellence, outstanding character, leadership and competitive success of high school students.

    The Thompson Valley High School Co-Ed Cheer Team won the 4A State Spirit Championship held at World Arena in Colorado Springs.

  • TCO/LHS Student Places in State Chess Championship

    Thompson Connect Online/Loveland High School 9th grader Jacob Findley finished 5th in the state at the Colorado Scholastic State Chess Championship. Findley was one of 10 players invited to compete.

  • BHS Swimmer Wins Two State Titles

    Berthoud High School senior Jamie Dellwardt won two state titles at the Girls 3A State Swimming Championship. She took first place in both the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke.

  • BHS Team Wins State Knowledge Bowl Championship

    Berthoud High School’s Knowledge Bowl team won the Colorado Knowledge Bowl 4A State Tournament. Seniors Ellie Sundheim, Corey Schanker, Aiden Cranwell, Eliana Paradise and Rachel Hoogland competed in the state tournament. Their coach was teacher Ted Fabiano. With this win, the team qualified to compete against students from five other states in a national event.

  • LHS Student Earns NSDA Academic All American Status

    Caitlin Tapia is Loveland High School’s first-ever Academic All American as recognized by the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA). Fewer than 2% of NSDA students earn the Academic All American award every year. This prestigious award celebrates the academic excellence, outstanding character, leadership and competitive success of high school students. Tapia has earned over 1,000 NSDA points in the NSDA Honor Society and is the school’s top earner in Loveland High School history. She is also the 26th highest NSDA point earner in Colorado.

  • LHS Senior Chosen as a Coca-Cola Scholarship Regional Finalist

    Loveland High School senior Jordan Reichhardt was chosen as a regional finalist and one of only 251 students who will move on for a $20,000 Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship. This achievement-based scholarship recognizes students for their capacity to lead and serve as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.
