Bill Reed Middle School’s boys cross-country team won the Colorado Middle School State Cross Country Championship. The team, consisting of Isaac Vasquez, Trent Gabrielson, Shawn Ferrell, Zack Bakker, Jacob Crisman, Karter Christensen and Gustavo Villalba, finished at the top of their division with a score of 64, followed by runner-up Mountain Ridge Middle School with a score of 86. Vasquez, Gabrielson, Ferrell, Crisman and Christensen will go on to compete at the Amateur Athletic Union’s Cross Country National Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina, in December along with Reese Morgan from BRMS’s girls cross-country team.
