Students Andrew Goering and Hagan Kipsey from Mountain View High School, Kyhia Sanford and Chloe Sewell from Loveland High School, and Chase Englehardt from Thompson Valley High School competed against 40 other teams from around the United States in the Cook Around the World competition in Florida. Their assigned continent was Asia. The students took first place in the side dish category with shrimp egg rolls and second place in the main dish category with a Thai chicken curry and coconut rice dish.
