Nick Divine, 7th grade Individuals and Societies teacher at Lucile Erwin Middle School, was awarded the 2022 Windows on the World (WOW) Travel Grant by Thompson Education Foundation. The WOW Travel Grant provides a teacher with $3,500 to complete an educational travel experience to a domestic or international destination, allowing the teacher to experience a learning opportunity in another country or culture and to bring their new knowledge back to students and other educators in the district. Travel must be completed over the summer break. Divine will travel to Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
