Magazine Recognizes TSD Nutrition Services Staff Member as Foodservice Hero

Liz Simon, Thompson School District Nutrition Services site lead, was recognized by Food Management, a national foodservice magazine, as one of 25 K-12 Foodservice Heroes. Food Management sent out a call for nominations of Foodservice Heroes. The magazine then featured submissions from child nutrition programs of individuals who stepped up beyond the call of duty to ensure that kids continued to be fed after their school buildings were shut down due to the coronavirus crisis this spring.
