Several Thompson School District students placed at the CHSAA State Track and Field Championships in Lakewood.

Loveland High School freshman Kajsa Borrman won the 5A girls discus title. Borrman threw for 142 feet to win the event.

Thompson Valley High School junior Dylan Schubert won the state title in the 4A boys 3,200-meter run with a time of 9:24.87. Schubert also took third place in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:20.47.

Loveland High School’s Mason Adams tied for third place in the 5A boys pole vault competition. Adams cleared 14 feet in the event.

Berthoud High School’s Kailey Berry took third place in the 3A girls discus with a throw of 116 feet, 5 inches. This was Berry’s second consecutive third-place finish in the girls 3A discus.
