The winners of this year’s Thompson Kids Can Change the World contest are Khloe Lloyd, 2nd grader at Truscott Elementary School, and Ashley Arthur, junior at Mountain View High School. The contest recognizes students in grades K-5 and 6-12 who want to make a positive difference in their community. Each winner will receive up to $250 in supplies and materials to help make their plans a reality. Khloe plans to hold a car wash for police vehicles. Ashley is creating resource boxes for classrooms to help students learn to better cope with stress.
