LHS Junior Named High School Softball Player of the Year

Loveland High School junior Laurin Krings was named High School Softball Player of the Year by Sportswomen of Colorado. She will be honored at the group’s 45th awards banquet at the Denver Marriott Tech Center. Krings led the state in strikeouts with 392, won 22 games and posted an ERA of 0.65. She also paced the state in home runs, hitting 15 on the season while batting .500 with 48 RBI.
