TSD Staff Honored by Colorado Congress of Foreign Language Teachers

Thompson School District staff were honored at the annual conference of the Colorado Congress of Foreign Language Teachers, which aims to advance the study and teaching of world languages at all levels of education throughout Colorado. Awards given to those who contributed to that goal in the past year included: Ida Weber, Truscott Elementary School, Early Career Educator Award; Sharla Riott, Lucile Erwin Middle School, Kris Wells Memorial Creativity Award; Superintendent Stan Scheer and Chief Academic Officer Margaret Crespo, Friend of World Languages Award; and Amanda Sanders, Ponderosa Elementary School, who received a scholarship to attend the organization’s spring conference.
